From Baltic to Caspian Sea
River cruise 'From Baltic to Caspian Sea' is crossing the area almost from Finland to Middle East, although it is done within one country. Should there be regular ferry-boat across the Caspian Sea from Astrakhan to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan – we would’ve been among the first ones to offer such an extension! We would do this with the only purpose to add а charm of travelling to Middle East that is just a little over than 400 miles away! But even without such a contrast the itinerary has enough to make this voyage pleasant and cognitive travel experience, because it crosses lands and stops in the cities of more than 20 cultures!
The ship tours 17 federated states of Russia – these are the lands of Russians and Tatars, Ingermanlanders and Veps, Chuvash and Mordovians, Kalmyks and Cossacks…
So, welcome aboard – to legends, history and great company of fellow travelers!
-the Neva, Svir & Vytegra Rivers; Ladoga and Onega lakes surrounded by epic Northern nature
-the Volga flowing across the plains of the Central and steppes of the Southern Russia
-the Don that has always been a symbol of freedom in the Russian State: Cossacks live along this great river since the times of Ivan the Terrible
